Flora & Fauna — Mammals
Animals
on the property are typical of those generally found within recovering
mixed mesophytic Blue Ridge forests. The white footed mouse, eastern
chipmunk, gray squirrel, and eastern cottontail number among the
smaller species, with raccoon, and white-tailed deer among the larger.
Coyotes, beavers, black bears and red and grey foxes have been sighted,
and there is abundant evidence of bobcats.
